About Nicola
I am a Licenced Semi-permanent makeup artist and medically registered Aesthetic Practitioner based in Whittlesey, Peterborough. At Beautifully Defined by Nicola I pride myself on offering bespoke treatments as individual as yourself.
I live with my husband Scott and two sons, Harvey and Rhys. I absolutely love my little town of Whittlesey. It’s where I grew up and now where I do one of my favourite things in the world, aesthetics and semi permanent makeup!
I actually got into this world after working as a Pharmacy Technician for 25 years. I loved by job, but I always felt like something was missing.
So, what made me choose Semi
Permanent Makeup and Aesthetics?
A friend of mine was looking for a model to do ombre brows on as she was tutoring someone at the time. I offered, and from that day I was absolutely hooked on semi-permanent makeup.
I loved how it made me feel, and I decided I wanted to help others feel the same way.
Now, I absolutely love what I do. Not only do I get to make people feel and look their best, but I get to meet new people, learn new things, and find new experiences day after day. What more could you want from a job?
It hasn't stopped there!
Like I said, one thing I love about my job is that I’m always learning new things and offering new treatments.
So at some point during this crazy journey, my services have grown and I also offer aesthetics. This includes treatments such as foundation botox, lip fillers, skin boosters, facial contouring, rhinoplasty, and more.
I have a huge passion for animals!
Particularly horses - of which I have two! I’ve had horses since I was very young, and now there’s nothing I love more than sharing this passion with my son Harvey. Oh! Of course, I can’t forget to mention my two beautiful dogs too!
So, clearly I have a very busy lifestyle! But I always ensure making wonderful people like you look and feel their absolute best is my number one priority (well… except my kids and animals of course). Either way, I love being in the beauty industry where I can continue to develop my skills and provide aesthetic and semi-permanent makeup services for lovely people just like you.
